ROCK-OLA JUKE BOX MODEL 440 E

This is not too far from me.. I'm not in love with it, but its listed for $215, and I can probably get it for less. Its been relisted for over a month now. Unfortunately, the mechanism is hidden. I want one where you can see the mechanism, but for the price, who knows... is this something that can be parted out maybe? It just seems cheap...
"The juke box physically is in good condition as it has been inside for the last 20 some odd years. Why so inexpensive? The arm that picks up the records is stuck and i cant get it to move. Perhaps you can, so heres a good project for little money. Thank you for stopping by. this is a cash and carry sale although carrying it may require some help. thanks"

That is the exact same model that
I have
!
Easy fix, it just needs lubed. There are a few points that if you don't oil and grease often they tend to stick. I don't think you will get much for parts. I have noticed a few being parted out on ebay and most parts go unsold.
If you get it drop me a PM.

So it may be worth it for $200? I really don't have the space for it right now, but if its that good a price, then I may be able to find a spot.... Is it heavy to go down a flight of stairs??
The link on your site for used juke parts is going to the Rock-ola 440 juke page...
Can these machines lay on their back in a truck, or is it better to stand up?

I'd say $200 is pretty good for it. I think I paid around $350 for mine over 15 years ago and I had to replace a few cosmetic pieces on it.
Heavy? Yes! It's best to transport these upright, but they have wheels on the bottom and two handles on the back.
Looks like I have to go fix that link!
Durfee Coin-Op
is where I get most of my parts from. It's a one man show and he has a 2 story warehouse full of stuff.

Well, I may persue it then... I sent the people an email the other day and haven't gotten a response yet... Maybe I'll send another one... There haven't been any soda machines local lately, and I feel like I should be buying something
