I emailed the seller about the coin mech. He said it worked when he got it 10 years ago, but not sure now. Would that surface rust be much of a problem? The machine is not  far from my parents home.  My dad said he could pick it up for me, but I'm not  sure this one would be that easy to restore. What do you all think?

That surface rust is not a big deal at all, look at alot of old white fridges that have sat out, even the tops of two tone round tops have the same problem. The paint just doesnt hold up as well as a darker color.

That mech looks as if it has not been tampered with since new. It has the penny, nickel, dime or quarter rejector on it. It doesn't look rusty, so it would probably be a nice restore.

I've been watching this one and will bid on it at the end, if not to high. You all know me, I love the generic 81's.
