I found these in my supermarket today. 250ml bottles.

They fit the V39 Drum. Have you got them over your side yet??

Bit expensive to fill up though. £2.79 for eight.

Go figure !  My customers have been begging to get Diet Coke in a package that will vend in their single-vend Coke machine.  So Coke comes out with just the right product, and where do they market it?   In a country where there only a handfull of these old machines....(which all owned by the same guy)  '<img'>

Well, I did write a rather nice letter to Mr Coca Cola a few months ago asking if he could
kindly sort out the problem for me.

He's true to his word.

Actually read an advert just now in the paper from the Corp. They say its in response to the Obesity problem. Can't see that myself. I think they are just trying to squeeze a few more pennies out of the poor Coke drinker.

But as you can imagine, I'm happy. Just got to find a "Cash & Carry" that will knock them out wholesale to me.

Oh, I'm not the only one this side of the world to have a machine. That chap Ginger Prince has a V-81. He's been here a few times but seems to have lost interest. I was hoping he was going to donate his machine to me.

I only just discovered the 291ml glass bottles up here in Canada.. I would image they're simmillar in size to your 250ml bottles..

Out of curiosity, what does a can hold over there ? It's around 340ml here I think and back home in Australia it's 375ml..

It's actually kinda cool to hear someone else refer to stuff in metric..  ':p'

Yep it 340ml. The larger bottles are 500ml. And we have the big two litre bottles too.

It would be interesting to see if your 291 does go in the drum. My 250 is a little short but will still do.
I've waited seven years for something to vend. Until now I've had to re-fill bottles.

Pepsi as well... That's good. More choice for us V-39 owners.

Interesting how the "Big Two" copy each other's packaging.  Remember when a 12 pack of cans measured 3 cans by 4 cans?  Now they are both sold  only in 2 X 6 packs.
