This is my first machine.  I originally stated it was unrestored, but I can see where this was re-painted.  Any work that was done is more than 20 years old.  I think what I'm going to do is to replace the gaskets, clean-up the machine, and get the coin-mech working.  I'll likely replace one of the plastic inserts and give it a drip cup.

The fiber board on the inside is bad in some areas.  Shows moisture damage.  I haven't seen this for sale.  Is it a generic part?

No holes, but some surface rust:

I assume this is an original compressor but I'm a newbie!

Front panel.  Bottle Return and Coin Return decals aren't original.

Coin Mech ... makes noise but doesn't release

Back of door ...

Have a Coke shows signs of a paint mask ... is this original?

note the Trade Mark Reg text ... I've seen different versions of this on restored machines ...

Hey Fred!
Welcome! Great machine.... this model was also my first machine!
Hope you stick around! Anything you need to know about machines
you'll find here.
My 72 has that fiber board too (I think they all did....kinda like masonite) I don't know if anyone sells
that as parts but I'm sure you could remove those and go to a Home Depot
or Lowes or any mom & pop lumber yard and buy some masonite and use the
originals as a template and make your own.
Funtronics and a few other places that advertise on this site sells decals,
the two lite-up buttons, face plate, and someone here could also tell you what
your coin mech needs.
Great looking machine... a lot nicer than mine... but someday I'll get to it!
Again welcome!

That's all pretty normal (Deteriation of the fiber board) as well as the rust around the pan as I had mentioned in an earlier post. Nice find!

Hello fred,
The compressor is indeed original. The fiber board along the face of the cabinet are called "breaker strips". The are readily avail. through the SodaJerk works or funtronics. They are both sponsers here at SMC. I just painted a C72 yesterday.
