I'm watching a CS-144 on ebay and was wondering if anyone has ever played with this particular model? Does anyone know what size of bottle this machine can vend? Can it be easily set up to vend cans without permanently altering the machine?
It kills me because I was just in Philly...probably could have "snuck" it onboard my ship (probably cost me a few beers) moved it into one of the gas turbine uptakes (lots of room but up one deck from the main deck, therefore need help, therefore more beer
) but in the end would have cost alot less than to ship it.

Anyway, any info would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Eric,
Do you know if the machine is the single flavor or three flavor version?
I believe it only vends 6oz - 8oz bottles, but may vend cans if the vending rack can be modified. I personally haven't worked on one...
If it's a fair price, complete and in decent shape, waiting for deliveries is always fun!

Um....first trying to talk the wife into letting me have another machine will be the fun part.
Jim, you raise another question. I've never shipped a machine before. Any pointers on who to go with, what to expect to pay (ballpark) etc. I could have a friend pick it up and store it for me until I get up there myself but that might take awhile to accomplish.
As far as one or three selection, i'm still awaiting a response from the owner but it sure looks like a three selection. Did the single selection still have three chutes?
I'm also sorry I missed your visit to Jacksonville, but gotta go when the ship goes....kinda goes with the territory. Hopefully we'll have another chance to cross paths before May 2008 (retirement).
Thanks for the repsonse!
