Way to eliminate spammers from the boards

I've noticed that some forums (especially over on colamachines.com) have become "spammer's paradise" due to lack of moderation. Some other forums I visit have turned on the "visual confirmation" feature and it has eliminated all the spammers/spambots.

The porn spammers have taken over at colamachines.com and noone seems to be deleting it. It just seems to be getting worse over there.

Some time ago, we began having some problems here as well, but we went to email verification in order to complete registration. This greatly reduced if not ceased spamming. I still get plenty of errors in attempts from users still trying...

I'm not sure if Ed knows if or how his software can accomplish this feature...
