Picked this up today pretty neat old Mobil sign, measuring a little under 5ft tall and 4ft wide. This was nearly in my backyard, They have another and im working on a deal to get it as well.

Neat looking sign ! When I looked at the pics I was picturing something about 1ft tall.. but 5ft.. wow!

I guess these were mounted on outside walls at gas stations ?

These were originally hung hanging from a pole, a bracket was mounted to the top of the sign allowing it to hang and blow freely. Hope this makes sense. I already have it hanging on the Garage wall.

I'm working on aquiring a old double sided light up "Douglas oil sign" that is here locally. It at a old gas station that the city is wanting demo'd. The sign has the "red heart" with wings on it. The red heart lights up. I sent a letter out today to the owner who I tracked down in S. Ca.  If I get it I will restore it and use it for my future backyard replica gas station. '<img'>
