On the bright side, she also has a square-corner 60's Cavalier CS64 for sale, she's also asking $500.00 for it...

here's the coin mech area. ':<img:'>

I just parted a 39 out... the coin mech and coin door wan't as clean and I got $320
for it... I would pass... too much stuff missing for $500.....
Just me......

I agree with eric. It will cost you a lot more in the end to complete it.

Plus the "cranky-thingie" is broken off, right?

And what happened to her "glass door" on it? Sounds like the two machines got combined in her head.

I guess I'd do it if she included BOTH machines for $500

The chrome trim is uncommon. I parted a late model V39 out a littel while back also - $75 just for the trim and it was pretty banged up. I have to agree with Eric though. I'd see if you couldn't get her down to $300 or a package deal for both as it looks to be missing a lot of stuff (drum, drum support, basket release, index mech, coin box, cap catcher, crank handle, condensation pan). All of those things add up to missing value! I have had two complete late model 39's - one I paid close to $850 for and the other $500 - the drum alone is $300-$400.
