Hello Everyone

two toys in the same week. That can't be bad. Today my Hershey vending machine arrived. Its only taken over two months to get here and the Post Office have kindly left there mark by way of a great big dent in the metal work.

Other than that I was very Pleased with my machine. It looks almost NOS.

As always there was no key with it and after a bit of heavy handedness with a large screwdriver I managed to get it open. Its all in there and I'm sure it will vend.

What I need to do now is source a new lock. I have included a picture of the casing minus the lock barrel itself. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get one from. It appears to be a unusual shape. I have tried all my normal places without success.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Hello Dave,
Can you show all the pieces of the lock? You may also want to contact Curtis @ memorylanerestorations.com

Why do you need a lock and key Dave? Don't trust family and friends around your chocolate bars?  '<img'>

Glenn - There could be three locks on there and my five year old would work his way round them no problems.

Terry - Have enclosed two more pictures of the locks. Will e-mail Curtis direct. Thanks

Okay Chaps need your help again.

This vending machine of mine vends the Hershey Minauture bars variety packs. Whatever they maybe. I thought I'd cracked it when I found a seller in the UK selling the Heshey Minature bars but they are the little individual ones in a big bag.

Do any of you know whether heshey still sell what I can only assume was a reasonably large bar containing the four minature bars within. It would be the sort of thing that they would have on the shelves at Walmart for Halloween.

Hi Brent

are they the little individual ones. If so I have a bunch of those. What I'm after is a bar or packet that contains four of them in one package. Like a variety pack. Have searched the net and can't find anything but
you guys are the best for sniffing things out. Thought that they might make an appearance halloween time.

Dave,
We have a candy store here in town, I'll check and see what they have or if they can get them.  '<img'>  Shipping candy shouldn't be a problem as we send candy/cookies to my son in the gulf.
