I know this is off topic but there are a few of you out there that also have a interest in vintage Gas (petrol) Pumps.
I have found this on Ebay UK
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Petrol-....iewItem
and I'm thinking of having a little nibble. I know absolutely nothing about Pumps other than they look great all restored and that there might be a small space in my gameroom where it could sit.
Are there repro parts available for gas pumps??? Is this a common make/model??? Is there anything that I need to ask about condition/missing parts??
The seller says its complete but I have no idea what I'm looking at. I take it that the restoration process removes the inards so I don't really need to concern myself about workability.
Any help, as always gratefully appreicated.
BTY - The lottery rolled over again last week now a whopping £125 million. So, this Friday I might be taking orders again.
Thanks
Dave

Looks to be a good pump for restoration! If the pump was in use, this may mean the electric motor is in working order; these make great bench grinders/polishers! If the item is fairly close to you, I would bid!

Pipped at the last post..... Ah well didn't really fancy the 400 mile round trip to pick it up. Also had the Mrs hanging on my shoulder "don't you go any higher..."

I have been hooked on gas pumps for a couple of years. Here are a couple of my Wayne 60s. I also have 5 others/
It is as addicting as candy machines and soda machines. Get hooked!! Good luck. I know a couple of good divorce attorneys.
