New evaporator coil set up

Creighton,

On your machine, 2 things.  Frist, is there an indention in the bottom of the door, where the molding goes, around the area for the copper tubing and wiring on the right or left side? There should be 2 screw holes about 3 inches apart in the bottom front of the cooling floor where the door seal goes. Second, how deep from front to back? I'm guessing the evaporator coil was mounted on the right side. Let me know.

Eric

Eric,

Yes there is, the door tubing indention is on the right side looking at the back of the door. The tubing cover mounting holes are on the left side when facing the machine. 3 and 3/4 inches apart. The upper deck is 12" deep by 21" long.

The attached picture is what I believe is the correct installation for my machine. Based on screw holes in the upper deck. Evaporator coil on the left.

The square top V-56's seem to have the right mounted unit. This is what has kept me from just gutting one of those for parts.

Thanks,
Creighton

O.K. Buddy,

Let me see what I can do. I don't think it will be too hard.
Give me a little time and I'll get back to you next week.

Thanks for the photo of the complete machine. This really helps a bunch!

Eric
