New evaporator coil set up

Hi Guys!

It's been awhile. I had to relocate my shop. Someone tryed to break in, again, and just didn't feel safe with the area any more. Been there the past 12 years. Anyway, needless to say, I've been super busy. Look, I think I've found a supplier who carries a wide variety of evaoprator coil set ups. Different sizes and shapes. The one he showed me looked almost like a small Vendo. I'm going to get a copy of the info. I will also speak with the mfg. and see about other types like for a Cavilier 72 or 96 etc. I may need some help from all of you with the various size measurements for what models and photos of the different machines. As you may or may not know, we can already produce a new universal lower compressor unit. This way, we can produce a complete refrigeration unit for those missing or for those in such bad shape they can't be used. I'll let you know!

Eric

P.S. My phone number will remain the same. The new address is 1414 S. Frazier #110, Conroe, TX. 77301. Jim, send the next bill there. Thanks

Creighton:
Hi Eric,

This is great news!! I need a complete system for a RT Vendo 56. All of the parts missing . Do you need a beta site :-) Thanks for the info.

Best regards,
Creighton

You're welcome! No, I'm not going to bail... I just had to move locations because of the decline of the area I had been in for the past 12 years. This is what has happened since Nov. 01, I was broken into and had over $8000.00 of computers, tools, welder etc. stolen. June 02, someone drove a car through the front of the building taking what was left, not much. Aug. 02 someone came over the rear fence and destroyed 40 Dixie Narco cooling units I had for cores to rebuild. They took the evaporator coils only, for the scrap value, about 20c lb. They cost me $600.00 plus the time to San Antonio to pick them up.
2 weeks later they came back and cut the chain off the gate. They did not get into the building this time. I called my wife and told her the problem and the next thing I knew, here she comes, with a 28ft bobtail truck, "we're moving, now!". I didn't argue. Nobody bothered us at all until last November. Once they found out what was going on, they kept coming back!  Anyway, the new location is much safer and I sleep better at night now. Everythings cool!

Creighton, as far as your unit, can you E-mail a couple of photos of the open cooling compartment. I need to see what you've got in the way of space and the mounting of what was in there. I'm sure I can come up with something.

Thanks to you both!
Eric

Creighton:
Hi Eric,

Thanks for the reply!! Per request here are some photos of the V-56. Best I can tell all of the orginal refrigeration equipment was just taken off and tossed :-(. First two pics are before I'd found a bottle rack. The dimensions of the base of the top compartment are 21"'x12". Please let me know what additional information is needed to assist with this project. Regret the cardboard temporary bottle shelf, but this is an ongoing project:-).

Best Regards,
Creighton
