I also wanted to send Curtis some words of encourgement as he sets out on his new endeavor.  He has helped me restore 3 Stoner Candy machines,4 soda machines and a 1917 cash registor.  His Moon Pie machine is "off the hook".  I wish him all the best.

Curtis - The Moonpie machine is UNREAL! - That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. 1st Class!

I am glad you are not going to retire from restoring machines -
Looking foward to your new site.

Will Bitw still sell your machines. Thanks RL

Hi Rich, thanks for the compliment on my Stoner Moon Pie. I have been doing all Soda and snack machines for Bitw for a number of years. The last three years were for them only, I could not restore or sell outside BITW, Bars and Booths, Memorylaneblvd. Which memorylaneblvd.com Wazzz? My web address, but not anymore.Sooo I'll be www.memorylanerestorations.com That is what I had always traded under anyway. Memorylaneblvd was just a shorter web address. But to answer your question, restore for BITW?? I don't think so at this time. Calls have been coming in from all over asking me to restore machines. Everyone has been so nice, offering to send me work if I needed it. All you guys out there are great and if I can help anyone out on anything, just send me an E-mail. All the machines you see on those other sites were all restored by Memorylane restorations we were a subcontractor for the. I did have one other person restoring with me, but we both left at the same time and won't be going back. Thanks and check out the other CQQL stuff going on E-bay this coming week. I just want to let people see some of the cool things I had done. See ya soon! memorylane@myactv.net

Hi Moondawg, A Moon Pie is a snack cake, found mostly in the south but as far as NY some people call them scooter pies. Look on E-bay under Stoner Candy and you will see a Stoner Pastery Machine I restored in the theme of the Moon Pie. There is a picture of the Moon Pies on the side of the machine. Hope you enjoy.

I was getting a snack before work and saw a box of Moon Pies on the shelf and though, That would make a cool idea for that Stoner Pastery Machine I was wondering what to do with it for about two weeks. Then went town on the art work, made sure the Powder coating and the paint would be a perfect match. I kind of had it in my head as soon as I got started what it was going to look like. I'm just Happy it turned out ok! You should see the art work I have on paper for a Vendo Milk machine, Awasom! Never got the chance to finish that machine. The machine is sitting in there warehouse, painted but with no graphics.Sad   Call me Josh. Thanks memorylane@myactv.net

Grew up on Moon pies and RC cola. (it's a southern thing).

Years later I can barely stand eating and drinking that much sugar.

The banana Moon pies are the best.

I occasionally will buy the Little Debbie snack cake version of the banana,
then the box sits in the pantry for a year or so with only one missing.

I am not from the South but I think Royal Crown (RC) cola is the best cola out there.   I need to find one of these Moon Pies out here in Northern California....Wish i had an RC 81 too....LOL

Fantastic job on the "Moon Pie" machine.  Glad to hear that you're going it on your own.  Best of luck. . . .
