Do like Josh did for kate and buy your wife a nice little Cavalier chest.
I think she'd like it better than any other. It's small and doesnt take up much room.

I guess I'm starting to show the symptoms of "IT", as well. I got the Choice Vend in August, the Cavalier 64 a month or two later, and with no room and the Choice Vend not working, I'm still looking for a good can vendor.

My collection is definitely small. There was a time though I thought I'd never own a Coke machine, now I have two.

I wouldn't mind having a USS machine, but I'd prolly have to luck up and find one around here.

Well, I finally got some pics of the V-63 and the Cavalier USS-64. I think the Vendo is going home next, but I gave my wife the option to choose '<img'>.

Nice!!! I really like the Vendo 63. the USS-64 is a late model. It was made sometime in the really late 70's to early 80's. The Vendo 63 is late 60's to early/mid 70's. The Vendo is a can only vendor and the Cavalier is both bottles and cans.

I like the 63. Its in pretty good shape. I haven't plugged it in yet, but I believe it works. I thought I saw in the machine section that the V-63 did bottles up to 12oz? The full model # is V/VF63/7
 Vending Capacity:     63-6-10oz; 56-12oz Bottles

Precool Capacity:    16 Bottles

Is it something internal that can be set for either? I was hoping to set it up with bottles.. The Cavalier will only do the small 6.5 oz bottles?

Man I've been looking for another can machine.
You are very lucky to have one, less hassle looking
for bottles, cans are cheaper.
I'd keep that one for cans, and use the other as a bottle machine.

That looks great it's the first 63 I've seen that actually
has no damage to the coin door!!!

How does the insides look? Got a key?

There are two differen't bottle stacks for the 63. The bottle stack has 7 round holes you pull the bottles through. Your stack has 7 little flappers. You pull up the flappers and it pushes out a can. The Cavalier will vend any size glass bottle and even some of the plastic ones. The shelves are adjustable.

The Vendo is pretty clean inside, all shelving is in tact. It needs a good wipe down, but no real rust. I'll post some pics of the inside tomorrow. I don't have the key, but from what I've heard our warehouse guy used to keep his beer in it... he's been gone for 13years, but he was nice enough to leave that machine unlocked. The Cav is locked and I can't find the key anywhere. We ran that machine up until about 5 years ago when the key went MIA. I've got a box of keys around that I went through the other day with no luck. So I guess that lock will meet my drill soon.

I want to give these machines a good cleaning before I bring them home. I'm not sure what or where all the electric is on either of these machines. Is it safe to use a powerwasher and mild soap to clean these machines? I've got no problem drying the compressor and components with air, but I don't know what else I should worry about. If the compressor cools, I don't think I will do anything to these machines, but use them, so I want to be careful with it.

Ken - the machines are pretty hardy.  I pressure wash all of them and then let them air dry for a day or two before plugging them in.  Just leave it on a slight slant so the water drains and doesn't pool.
