I figured the best way to thank folks for the help I've received here, is to show you some of the things I've been working on:

and a candy machine what else could a guy ask for..... except for more stuff '<img'>

Nice display of the collection... You should post these in the gallery (and take more images

I didn't even know, Eric! OK, done. It's in the gallery. And the photos look better there. Having trouble adding an album title though.

kstt,
Very cool!
I think we would all like to have a soda fountain room in our houses.
Since I recently bought a phonebooth and payphone for my basement (though mine is glass and metal), may I ask where/how you got yours? I'm jealous that yours is wooden.
Also, where did you get all of the other cool stuff?
Well done!

Thanks for the kind words, Markito.
I work for a large research company which have buildings dating back to 1958. I worked 10 years in one office which, right outside the door, sat this phone booth. About 10 years ago, we did a major interior renovation and the phone booth became "available". I believe its a 1966. Aquiring this actually gave me the "diner" theme idea, as I already had the C-51 and the traffic light. The other stuff you see collected is everything from, things my parents had from the 50s, to flea markets, to Ebay. The diner stools, I'm told, are from the 30s. I found them at the Macungie, PA yearly auto show/flea market.
The internet has made finding things much easier, but great bargains are becoming rare.

Markito... you're slipping did you notice kstt's 51.... the top area....

kstt you better have a towel under that crate or you'll have 'kito here
to deal with... (He thinks that stacking things on machines unprotected
is cruel and unusual punishment to machines... also may cause scratching) '<img'>

Checked out the gallery.... thanks for sharing great images!

I believe that you have posted pictures of the dreams of many here.  Great collection and outstanding set-up.  I would bet that your friends love to stop by and visit your soda-shop.
