Well I got the Ideal 35 home and it is nice. It is really straight. It is missing the rack and the coin entry to the coin mech. I have to drill the locks but does anyone know how to get the coin mech cover off. It doesn't look like it hinges like the ideal 55.
The Milk machine sign is pretty cool. I think it will clean up. Most of the rust looks like it will come off.

Behind the coin box are 2 screws. Remove them and slide the cover up.

Thanks glen. I will drill the lock tomorrow. Does anyone make or have parts for this machine. I need the hinges for the top lid, the coin entry chrome piece and the rack.

Man that's a great little 35... I know you're wanting to do the Frosty...
Can't wait to see it....
There's a guy in Oazrk, MO that had one done all white and used one of those repro'd
Grapette porcelin signs on the front perfect size and fit....
If I ever get another slider that's the size.....
