I hinted around awhile back that I bought a Glasco cup dispenser machine. I took me about a month but I was finally able to make the road trip to San Jose, Ca. (approx. 4.5 hours north of me). I would say the trip was totally worth it. The machine is a round top cup dispenser that dispenses two flavors (Orange and Coca-Cola) for a dime, also gives change for a quarter. The machines stands around 6' tall and is made by Glasco. It is a model GB-400, It is complete, even came with the syrup tanks and CO2 tank and a couple hundred cups. I will have to replace the 1/4" lines for the product but that isn't a big deal. The machine was originally painted red with a white top, but was repainted in a cream colored to make it more visible in a dark lobby of a movie theater. The chromed is great condition, no rust anywhere and a few small dings. This is going to be a very easy restoration, I will return it to it's original paint scheme.

Sweet! nice score!
just a reminder for all who are thinking about actually using any soda-fountain and or cup vendor, any and all lines that carry carbonated water/soda, must NOT be Copper! you should be using only food grade plastic or stainless-steel lines, why? because CO2+copper=poison. at the very least you will be very sick with copper poisoning.
here's an excelent link to hooking up soda-fountains

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
