Thought this was an interesting item on ebay, has anyone else seen this or anyone here selling it?

Yea, they seem to have a bunch of these that they sell (seen it a few times before).  I bet they use old vending mechs that they no longer want and steal the cord and plug from them. ''

he's done a nice job, but it isn't long enough to mount anywhere practicle...he's modified a DBA adapter.

The other kinda funny/ironic thing is that any good ham radio/electronics supply house carries 9-Pin Cinch Plugs for about $7, hopefully he isn't cannabalizing something more expensive to get his DBA connector.

What would you say, Johnie? About another 12 to 16 inches would be better?

at least 24", depending on where you'd be mounting it on the coin door, I prefer the coin-return cup, others mount it in the bottle opener area.

This makes a great test unit. If the cord is long enough, the main door can be wide open and you can hit the button and observe the vending cycles
