Well Mark just came over to help me unload my new Sel-Vend S47. It was great meeting Mark. This is going to be alot of fun. He is such a nice guy. He even brought me several maps of the city and a Minneapolis guide to help me get around this great new town.
This machine says it is a Sel-vend S47. It is really clean and rust free. It does have some surface rust discoloration but it is really nice. I really like the 7up porcelin sign on the front. I haven't plugged it in because it has only been setting upright long enough but it also really needs wiring. Here are some pics.

Looks good.  The sign looks to be in great shape.  Glad you made it safely.  Now the question is how long will you be there before you have people pounding down your door to give you the machines that are in their garages? '<img'> '' '<img'>

Great machine, Josh.  Are you going to restore it or just clean it up?

I am just going to clean it up and resell it really quickly. This move was rather costly so I really need the money. But I couldn't pass it up for the price.

That would be fine with me. As long as I get to play it too. I am going to Cincinnati next week so I am going to swap the coin mechs from my Rc cola 56 and the mech from this machine then I am going to sell it. The other coin mech works but it has been robbed of all of its inside parts making it a free vend only mech. Just getting the coin mech was worth it so I just want to sell it for what ever it takes. When I list it on ebay in a week or two I am just going to start it at 1 cent and see where it goes.

Glad to hear you made you're move safe and sound. That is a pretty cool machine. I too really dig the sign. That sure is a good canidate for a full out restoration.

Oh yeah, when you get a chance. When you make it over to Mark's house, let us know if he's just foolin' us and has all sorts of junk on top of his machines....I'm dying to know. '<img'>
