Greetings,
I am considering disassembling the bottle belt for my C-51 to blast and paint with hammer paint. Think would be easier and result in a better job. To do this I would have to cut the hinge pins to remove them. My question is, where to obtain replacement pins? Have been thinking perhaps might try making my own? Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug

I don't know about being easier, you have 102 pins to cut. but agree it would look better.  Each pin is 6" long, so you could buy 51+ ft. of 1/8" dia. aluminum rod, then cut to size, reinstall and pinch the ends.

Glen,
I'm counting 52 pins. Cutting them would be a breeze with the Dremel. Still talking alot of rod ':p'  I'm checking on possibly something in the rivet department? Thanks for the input.
