I have a friend that lives here in Cincy that has a cup dispenser machine that he would like to sell. It is a really neet machine. It was origionally a Dr Pepper machine but was converted to a generic machine. It still cools but the dispenser is untested but looks to be complete. The machine is complete except for the coin mech. It does require a large coin door coin mech. Please PM me if anyone is interested. Josh

Josh,
What are the possibilities of acquiring a couple of better photos for use on SMC...? And secondly, are there any ID Tags to identify the manufacturer/model...?
Is this machine being stored outdoors, unprotected...?

Let us know what you find, seeing as how I live a hop, skip and a jump away from there! I might be interested.

It doesn't look like I will be able to get there today but I will get some pics somehow. I do know that the machine is complete besides the coin mech and it does cool. I think he wants $500 for it. It is also really nice. There doesn't seem to be any rust on it at all and only a few dents.

I like it! Would look great restored. Large door coin mech. requires a push handle to allow bottle removal. Cup vendors need to signal cup drop then a fill valve. You sure it won't work with a coinco ?

All that I know is that it had a large door mechanical coin mech with a push handle origionally. If you look just to the right of the lock on the front you can see the oval hole for the push handle. I am leaving to go back to Memphis in a few hours and he is out of town. The owner is going to pull the machine out and take some better pics for me. I should have them sometime this week.

I like it! it's small enough, round-cornered, & has (had) a crank..yea, Josh, you gotta rescue this one, sitting outside, all alone..in the dark...poor thing. it's kinda making me miss my ColeSpa 6A, (except the lifting part!) I wonder if the sign is a "light-up" ? & I see that it's a two-flavor "Pre-select" machine, where you'd have to select which flavor of sodapop you wanted before dropping in your coin. ( Just like the Westinghouse "Select-o-Matics") do you know if it has an ice maker built in? (probably not, it's pretty compact)....

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
