Hello

The cornelius slider arrived in SC on Thursday & I hide it in the garage until today.

I checked the 50 cents coin mech & it worked fine. I then drilled the lock to allow me to remove the coin mech/can release. I removed the can rack & I found about 5 dollars of change down in the cabinet.  I cleaned the interior cabinet with orange cleaner to help remove the funky smell, wipe down rack & checked the refrigeration system. All check out fine.

I had the new can machine in place in the garage when my wife & daughter returned from shopping. I had them come into the garage & thats when I let the cat out of the bag about the new machine.  My wife had "I dont believe it" look on her face at first. I then opened the slider & she started to smile saying that she remembered this type machine from her childhood. We even stopped at the store tonight to buy some can Lemonade to load into the machine for her. So now I have the cornelius slider loaded with diet coke, coke, sprite, lemonade. I moved the last few Ice House beer cans down into the bottom holding area.

I know I am making progress with my wife when she mentioned that it would be neat to have a room in the house with two of our machines. One bottle machine & the can slider.  I will start planning that over the next few weeks.

I am going to go out & snap a few pictures right now.

Hello

Creighton  Where are you located? This had not been posted 5 minutes & you replied.  Two coke machine nuts sitting at home on Saturday night.

Here is the picture of the Can slider next to the V-126 in the garage. Both are loaded & operational.

Learn something new everyday... thought sliders were bottles only.  Need more data....

What sliders do cans? bottles?  do any do both?

Good job, Kevin! Those machines look great. That's a good thing that your wife had a "nostalgic flashback"! Are those in you basement or garage?

Hello

We have a seperate garage so all my machines are out in the garage for now. On the other side of the garage sit the other four machines. I need about 2-3 hours to get the V63 & the VMC 56 all put back together. It is just to hot here in SC to work in the garage but fall is just a few weeks away.

Hey Hartlend

The ebay listed advertised the machine as a bottle machine. I tried a few different sized bottles yesterday & no luck. This a can only machine because the cans rest on the bottom of the rack & you reach through the top of the rack to slide them along. This machine will hold about 120 cans including the lower pre-cool area.  I will take some additonal pictures today to show the simple type coin mech.

The only ting I did different this time was just to wiped it down & put it into operation. Normally I replace the fan motors, t-stat & give it a good spray cleaning with the hose.

New to me too. Thanks Kevin for clarifying operation. I was thinking the cans were being suspended at the neck like the bottle sliders.
Clever hidden coin mech. Overall nice design.
