No sign of wood grain. Doors would not close because inside wood framing was swelled. Wooden base entirely rotted and missing. Icy-o embossed on bottle opener. Looking for a pic. of what the cap catcher looked like! Anyone?

Glen -

I was just taking a look in Jeff Walter's book (Pg.19) at the picture of the Icy-O Countertop and it looks exactly the same with no cap catcher. Are there screw holes present that would indicate the use of a cap catcher of some sort?

Glen,
Glad all finally went well. Sounds like this person might be able to help if you can get ahold of him.

Original finish was supposed to be a wood grain look. YUK !   We were leaning toward all white with gold letters and black or green or white selection doors, but would welcome  suggestions of a 1920's Coca Cola color scheme. Any input?

Hey don’t give up on the wood grain too quick. I have a rare dispenser with wood grain lithograph finish and it looks fantastic. You really need to see it in person to see how good it really looks. Here is a picture of it:

I agree with the white with red letters but I would add a little bit of green pin striping on the sides and front. I think that would look great.
