I'm looking for some parts to a USS-8-64. That's what the tag says the model is. Can someone tell me what brand that is and where I can get parts for it. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome aboard Bminer... I would guess the machine you have is a Cavalier USS 8-64, which has an oversized front door, behind which there are pull cogs that vend individual bottles and/or cans. If you can post some additional info out here, there's a number of folks that work with these machines. You may also want to contact some of the advertisers on this site -- funtronics in particular -- which carry a number of these parts. You may also have some luck with Ebay, either parts for sale, or donor machines - there's some uglies out there that can be donors. There's a whole family of Cav's out there that are 64- bottle machines, like the CSS 8-64 that share some common parts.
Good luck, these machines can be a blast, and welcome to the board!

I need a few things. I need a new key, and I have the key number. I also need some shelves and also a change box. I also wonder if the coin mechanism works correctly. I couldn't get it to work when I put in a quarter (the dispenser knob wouldn't turn).

Watch ebay for the shelves. Another good place to check are the part suppliers link on the homepage here. Funtronics and soda jerk works are both good.
The Uss 8-64 is a great machine. I love the fact that you can vend bottles or cans. I am in the middle of restoring one right now and just picked up it's big brother the Uss 12-96. Unfortunatly I have no extra parts right now.
Good luck and welcome to the board.

I think I have your parts. Please email me at jdloman2000@yahoo.com and we can work something out. Also include what your lock code is as I have a bunch of cavalier keys. How many shelves do you need? I had a bunch but I threw some away when I moved. I think I have two left. No one remakes them for the USS 64.

You shouldn't have a dispenser knob on a C-64 | He has the USS 8-64 that does have the knobs.

I just went out and looked I have found three shelves and I am still looking for a coin box. I am pretty sure that I have one somewhere. Again send me an email and we can work something out. Josh
