You probably won't be able to give the thing away, but I'd be willing to take it off your hands if you paid me $50 and covered the shipping, but I'll only help you out this one time. I may not be so generous next time.

All kidding aside, my book which is a bit out of date, says $600 for an average condition Pepsi 110 and $1650 fully restored. As I said, my guide is one version behind and printed before the advent of greedbay.com.

Troy,
I would say the value ranges between $700 - $1000 for a good VMC 110. Condition, completeness and if everything is functioning properly, as well as rarity are all factors to consider for a reasonable value. Since the refrigeration isn't working but can be repaired, this will still reduce the purchase price in my eyes...
Your remark, "just needs freon" can be more problematic that you think! Consider yourself forewarned...
empinball (aka Electro-Mechanical Pinball I presume...)

Here is what I came up with for a price $ 700 for rough
$1200 For Average $3000 for restored.
But your machine is not getting cold I would probably
ask $850 and see if you can get it. That is if you are going to
sell it. and don't forget the S.M.C. Auction area .
I would keep it if were me , it sound like a great machine to restore.
