I saw a show on the travel channel that featured restored trailers.  There is a club out west and they meet once a year.
Also, they showed a campground that had nothing but restored trailers from the 50-60's that you can rent.  Neat idea!!

Think it means camper, rv, motor home, and caravans.

In the south trailer can relate to any thing from u-hauls, pulling items on a
flatbed pull-behind-a-truck-trailer with
anything from 4-wheeler atv, lawn mower,
furniture ect. Up to new and use manufactured homes. (still called trailers here.  Most of them are moved with 18 wheeler tractors).

Dave,
It is a travel trailer, small in size. 11' long and about 4' tall. sleeps two and the back opens into a galley (kitchen). I'll post some picures of mine. Jasmine, your right about the teardrop trailer rally's. There is two here in California per year. They is also a few more around the states. These are getting very popular.  ':drinkers:'

Are you able to stand up in the trailer, or do you have to crawl? '<img'>

I've never owned a trailer or RV, but someday I'd love to own one of the unique looking "Airstreams".

No one in my upscale neighborhood has trailers/rv's on their property, so I have often thought it'd be fun to have a decked out, cosy Airstream in my garage as a guest bedroom.
