I also collect Peter Pan record covers with art work done by George Peed, or George Peet.
Depends on what he was working on which name he goes by.

I believe he also did some comic book art. Maybe some Disney. Not much info on him, but plenty of record art to collect.

Wonderful stuff that brings back memories from the 60's and 70's. Especially the Christmas album covers. (Peppermint Kandy Kids)

I collect vintage transistor radios, and there are some beauties made to look like the soda machines of the day.

Do you have the Gilligan transistor radio? I hear that model used is hard to find and VERY collectable.

Aside from the vending machines I collect Jukeboxes and now penny scales too (see the signature list below).  I have several coke and one pepsi six pack carriers, a mint condition progress coke picnic cooler, and a semi-restored Dole Deluxe dispenser.   I also collect 1940's "Fire King" Restaurant ware "jade-ite" dishes, Art Deco furniture, 78 rpm big band and early rock records, and vintage zenith radios.  It all get's a bit cramped here in my one bedroom college apartment.  I buy and resell antiques to help finance my education (the Montgomery GI Bill helps too).

Future wants include a stoner candy machine and a 1930-40's vintage pickup truck (looking for one in the texas/louisiana region if anyone has or knows of one).

True, I'm 27 years old going on 5 but I'm hoping that all these machines are sort of like a "nest egg" in case of bad times I can always sell them (they sure don't loose value).  I just can't help it...  I think I'm probably as addicted to coin-ops as anyone on here.

Eric, if you're looking for a penny scale I may be able to help you out.  I know of one in a junk store north of Austin that I'm planning to stop by tomorrow.  I remember seeing the price tag on it only read something like $80 bucks.  It was not in as nice a shape as the one I currently have and I lacked the cash the last time I saw it.  If it's still there this time it's mine.  If you're interested I may pass it on to you for very little more than I pay for it (if it's even still there).  I won't make a profit, just break even for fuel.  Let me know if you're interested.

Creighton...A buddy of mine went into a Salvation Arny Store here in St. Louis and found a
1950-ish Viewmaster in a carring case with a lot of cool slides including these slides of
Woody Wood Pecker... they looked like clay animation figures he paid $10 for all of it!

Eric,
VM's are just huge fun. My favorite is the talking ones from the 60's/70's. The reel has a record that the viewer plays. Not an expensive hobby and a see and learning experience.
