I was looking through the latest edtion of Gameroom Magazine and I saw a review for a Dublin Dr. Pepper tour DVD. Anyone seen this? It's only $15 at
http://www.pinballrebel.com/forsale/fs.htm
and you can watch a trailer for it (reguires RealPlayer) here:
http://pinballrebel.com/forsale/dublin.ram
Seems like a neat idea - but as a video person the preview was too shakey for me (I was starting to twitch), I was wondering if the whole thing is like that.

I made that DVD that you are asking about. It was shot with a handheld camera and not on a tripod.
It isnt a studio type job abut I did the best I could. Overall I think its worth what I am selling them for.
I have yet to have a non-professional who did not enjoy it. Its kinda like when you know how a magic trick is done it isnt fun anymore
'>
By the time I burn it, make labels, buy a case, and ship it, Im not making much one them.
It was just my way of letting people enjoy something that I do a great deal

Thanks for the info Ken. I was thinking about getting it and was seeing if anyone else here has seen it since Dublin Dr. Pepper has been brought up many times here.

Welcome aboard Pinballrebel. I've used the information on your website many times to research jukes. Glad to have you here.
Oh, and txturbo, you'll realize you have addiction to that dublin DP (aka "liquid crack") when you live only three hours from dublin but still buy 15 cases per trip several times a year... (like me). I swear they put something in there besides cane sugar. I even find the taste of normal DP (corn syrup type) to be somewhat revolting now. Anyhow, welcome - good to have more Texans here.

Thanks and glad to be here. Yeah....I've been thinking about making another trip. Gotta find a good excuse to go back. Too bad they don't have really big Mall there. I could convince the wife to go back 5 or 6 times a year if they did.

Looks like I waited too long to order the DVD. Went to Ken's site today and could not find the DVD. I emiled him and he replyed:

Im sorry the dvd is no longer for sale due to issues beyond my control.
Looks like the big Dr. gave him a shot!
(This good Dr. would have just given him a good drink!

Well, It was a misunderstanding between myself and them about dist of the video. They had very good reasons for not wanting them sold and I was more than happy to comply. No hard feeling just a simple miscommunication. Still the best drink in the world and one of the best places to visit as well.
