All (specifically those in the Florida area, like Josh),

Here is a 7-Up VMC 33.  It appears complete, but it does have a lot of surface rust.  The current bid is $500 with no reserve.  I haven't seen a lot of 7-Up stuff, so I thought this was cool.  The Walters book lists this for $2150 in average shape.

I like the looks of it! and even with the surface rusting, the interior looks pretty clean, as does the coinmech area, I see in the ID tag picture a 7up bottlers tag on the chassis that's stamped "1987", which seems to indicate that it was at least inventoried as late as that year? hmmm, I doubt it was still in service, being a 10-cent machine, but other than that, it seems fairly straight, and complete, where the 7up VMCs embossed across the bottom?

I wish I could I just don't have the $$$. It is close to me so I would be willing to get it to forward air for someone. When I say close it is about an hour and a half away.

Terry,
I will tell you what. I want the machine but I really don't need to be spending that kind of cash right now. If you want the machine you go ahead and bid. I hope you win it.

cool machines and pretty rare too.  My first machine was a VMC 33 7Up.  Bought it from a guy in Sacramento, California during the early days of eBay...before the dark times, before Greed Bay...anyway, it originally came from 7Up Bootling of Los Angeles....I was only able to vend the small coke bottles and the all white look didn't do too much for me...ended up trading it for coke VMC 44....
