Cleaning tip

as I was cleaning up a Vendo V134-4/Faygo machines interior
(multiple frozen/exploded cans of soda left over from last winter! EWWW!) I ran out of my simplegreen & grabbed some of my westleys white wall cleaner (I use it on the '59's wide whites) the crud melted off! tried it on the back, & it did a super job, I had to avoid the decals (water-release type) as it lifted some of the color from the edges. it also de-waxed the paint too. a quick rinse with plain ol' water. & i was pretty impressed. have to watch the overspray (windy-day) as it tended to sting my eyes, (don't forget goggles & gloves!

Thanks for the tip! Might have some bleach in it. That would sting :-)

Nope no bleach in the content label, just a form of sodium -super-soap...but it will sting & irritate the skin..it was my bad like I said, dummy me didn't have his gloves on & it was a way windy day also...no harm done...
gawd what a mess! It looked like that black puddle creature from Startrek the next generation when the offed the old security chief to make room for Warf.. it was like liquid tar...smelled real good too after being in the machine all winter..they (the sellers) were a couple of yahoo's who left the machine full of soda cans & shoved it outside the garage in the middle of winter...not thinking is putting it mildly..  '>

That's always good to hear about another product that works well. Especially because I know a few people have cleaning items available in some areas that others don't, so it's always nice to expand the "cleaning stable"! '>  Thanks Johnie!

I found that spoke and wheel cleaners work well removing surface rust especially on chrome.  Caution : prolonged exposure to skin (fingers) burns painfully. Use rubber gloves.
