Hi folks.
I just got a call for a Selectivend Dr. Pepper square-top.  I'm going to look at it at 10:00 tomorrow (Sunday) morning.  That's EST.
I've never run into a Selectivend, so if anyone sees this question tonight, I'd appreciate any edjumacation on these puppies.
She described it as having the "distinctively different" graphics on the light up sign and sides.  It has the glass bottle door so it's a slant shelfer.  It was her late husband's machine and she wants it out of her garage.
She's afraid to plug it in so I don't know if it cools.

I need another machine like I need a hole in my coconut, but I can't resist checking it out. ':<img:'>

Is it a decent machine?

Thanks,
Bob

So Bob - is there a new machine in the stable?  Or at least pictures of the one that got away?

Well Bryan,
It was a really nifty machine - just the type of Dr Pepper graphics that I like, with the yellow chevron on the logo.  Nice small machine, too - the size of a Vendo 63.  Too rusty for me, though.  Lots of rust-through... no thanks.
As I was finishing up, she mentioned that her son had a Coke machine in the cellar (isn't this always the way?).  She didn't know what his plans were for it.  Anyway, she led me to it and it's a BEAUTIFUL Vendo 63 - clean, clean, clean... ':p'  .  Original paint, light-up sign, trim in great shape, etc.  I couldn't look inside but you could just tell, ya know?  It was missing the bottle opener trim.  It was still on a dolly for some reason.  The son is in Florida for I don't know how long.  I would have loved to throw that in the back of my Element '<img'>  .
I'll call her in a few weeks, and I'll keep youse guys posted ':<img:'>  .

So did you greet Josh's mom for us while you were there?  '<img'>
