Generally the dimensions of the white field on each side of the machine is 18" top horizontal, 17" bottom horizontal, and 11 1/4 inches for each vertical.

That's good to know. I hadn't thought about the measurements for the white field.

Looks like I have some work to do. I guess while the vending
stack is out I'll reclean it and oil it well.

This is the machine the wires were vandalized. I have a new
harness, found out mine is the later version of the 63. It has 6 wires,
the earlier one has 4 on the internal harness.
The things you learn tracking down parts!

Thanks everyone for the pics and advice.

I also like the white cabinet and red front, think I'm going all red with white
around the bottle door and it's surrounding area.

Here is an origional machine that I had a while back. I like the early 63's. The red and gold/chrome looks so good.

Mine is silver.  You can get a gold one from Fun-Tronics for 24.00 (part 345 on page 49 of their catalog).

Thanks wish I'd known that just placed an order with Steve.

As many times as I have looked at the book, never saw it.
I wish he had a web page.

[/QUOTE]Ok people, whats the best thing to use to remove the vinyl wood grain? The same metal striper that I'm going to remove the paint with?
Quote

Used a paint stripper on the vinyl.

Let it sit on it for 30 minutes. Turned it kinda rubbery. Peeled off without a problem.

Now on to the paint removal.
