I was doing the weekly shopping and was examining the new variety of salsa's that the store now has (just remodeled/ added on). I was looking for the real stuff, not the usual stuff that's made in New York City (New York City?). I noticed some liquid in glass bottles. I just passed it off as the usual juices, but something made me bend down for a closer look. They now carry Mexican soda (made with sugar) and they were on sale for 50 cents each. Sooooo I had to pick some up, of course. I got Apple, Lime, Grapefruit and Orange. What are your thoughts about soda from Mexico (minus the popular US brands)?

Our supermarkets carry those, but I have never tried them. I figure as long as I can get the brands I get now, I really have no reason to try the others.

Jarritos is good stuff. Good looking bottle and the pina or pineapple as it's known up here is really top-shelf stuff. The Orange is kind of weird but the lime and grapefruit are pretty good. I not a sidral mundet drinker, it reminds me of cheap apple juice that has been carbonated.

I tried the Apple Soda yesterday. Not that bad. I was expecting a cross between apple cider and Woodchuck Cider but it was lighter tasting. I may get some again. Haven't had time to try the Jarritos - maybe tomorrow.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
