Well, I would have bid, but my uncle in Lodi just
couldnt go get it and store it for me until I could locate

Holy cow!   That is by far the funniest auction I have ever read.  Gotta give the guy credit.  What an active imagination!
I bought a jukebox of ebay once that was allegedly haunted.  The guy claimed that the machine would turn itself on in the middle of the night (even though it was unplugged) and play loud R&B music until he'd look in on it and then it would stop.  He said that every time he tried loading the machine with new records it's record arm would swipe across the record stack and break every last one of them.  As I later figured out, it was just some broken bits of 78 rpm records jamming the mechanism causing that.  So far the machine has never fired up any loud R&B for me in the middle of the night, although I wish it would.  Think of the energy savings...
