Well finally got this little LaCrosse up & running, first of the season for mr anyway, it needed a re-wiring, and the light-up signs fixture need to be replaced (as it was removed at some point) I came up with this instant-start circline lamp setup, it does a nice job Illuminating the 3-D pepsi cap. the other neat thing about this machine is the vending manager, setup, just below the coinmech. it counts off every fouth coin & then "tips" a little flap inside the coin chute & deposits that coin into a seperate locked coinbox, it also has a vending meter to keep the store-owner "honest"...  '<img'>

Another really nice (and clean machine)... was the clean good fortune or elbow grease?  Like the light setup - is it pressure switch activated when the door closes or always on?

The round shape of the light is absolutely perfect for the same sized round sign. Great match-making.

thanks! lots of elbow grease! (& rubbing compond) the light is always on, unless you turn it off with the push-button switch I installed on the side of metal box that holds the "correct change only" light..you just can't see it from this angle...

johnieG, nice job!

Not to get off-topic, but I've been meaning to ask if you could post a pic of the '59 El Camino.  I love the '59 Chevys.  Almost grabbed one locally a few months back but the rust was too much.

Thanks,
Bob
