Well on my rounds today, Dudes take a look at what I found! not 1, not 2 but at least 6, yes 6 vendo V210 Ice Cream vendors, all in working condition, & also with a crates of spare parts!  ( coin-doors, coin-mechs by the milk crate full, main doors & even the "ammo-belts" that convert them over to  vending "cones" instead of flat bars & sandwiches) hoo! hoo! pinch me I'm dreaming!, the 'gent who owns these is only asking $600.00/ea. & he'll throw in  boxes old parts ta-boot, not to mention he has a crate-full of Coinco changers & some MARS units too, he & his dad use to stock the Big-4's
(GM/Parckard, Ford, Chrysler, & AMC) vending "banks" (the big row of vending machines in the auto plants)as he called them for canteen corp as a sub-contractor...man what a gold mine! but he's retired now & into his 60's autos... so any interest? or need I ask... ':O'

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Here's a "pre-select" model, note the selection knob.

JohnieG - didn't know those machines had an exhaust system.  Must be to cool those big boys down? '<img'>

Cool!
That first one has the same exact selection buttons as my 1957 V-216MD (see my photo):

'Kito, that's the first thing I thought of to when I saw the automatic style machines, I wonder if the 3-flavor Pre-select model (that's what he called the earlier model) "select-a matic" style control/coin door  could be adapted back onto a V216 MD machine?  '<img'>  hmmm. of course there isn't any bottle opener on the Ice Cream vendor though...just a though!

Wow,  It's amazing what you can pull out of the woodwork around here.  Very cool find.  Do not know why I would need one of those but I trying to think of a reason.

Well think how cool it would be to have one on the deck & pull a nice drum-stick cone out of on a hot day! or those frozen snicker-bars & such! & here's another reason maybe to justify it, he emailed me & said he's found some of the original light-up fronts that where an accessory on these machines, they are plexiglass signs that have identicle graphics that look like the tin ones on the machines now, but they mount in their place on the front of the machine & have three "arrows" that point down over the door to indicate what flavor it is. gotta go back & get some more pictures!  '<img'>

For $600.....Wow...I might be interested. Please let me know what the other specifics are. Now that I'm Fed Ex Freight savvy, this might work fine. You're in Michigan, right Johnie?

Johnie, just an addition, I have a buddy I work with who isn't on SMC....yet! He is interested in one of these also, along with me. I guess it took me a few minutes to come around and make a decision. So, I'll take one or make that two! '<img'>  Let me know!
