Deciphering My 81 VMC Pepsi serial number

I’ve looked around knowing that I’m sure this topic has been covered ….but I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for. On my 81 HD VMC Pepsi machine, my serial number of the cabinet tag is: 100296B41 (I did find out that the B41 on the tail end stands for Pepsi). My compressor deck plate ID tag is: 5K563530

I’ve listed both numbers as I read that the VMC deciphering codes are not the same as the Vendo machines. And that it might be a combination of the two tags?? I’m curious to know how to decipher my serial number to learn what year and month my machine was manf? TIA
