Quote (Skeleton Man @ April 23 2005,10:24) | I'm looking for 120 - 145V Dual Contact Bayonet, indicator bulbs for the flavour buttons and correct change light on a cornelius squaretop.
They look as follows:
I tried an electronics supply store, they could only order them in boxes of 10 @ $6 per bulb !!
I found an online store that has what I need, but they want $9.50 per bulb !!!!!!!
I need about 5 or 6, but will happily buy a box of 10 if the price is reasonable (under US $2.50 or CDN $3.00 per globe)
I'm also looking for a can opener for the front of the machine as it's missing one.. (it's definately a can opener and not a bottle opener, not sure of the difference) |
I've looked at your pictures post at you link...sorry to say it is really just the bottle opener spot, it's missing the crown-puller (bottle opener) itself, so at one point this machine was a bottle vendor & then was converted to being a can vendor, there is no can opener, because it's from the era of "pull-tab" cans. not the earlier type that vended steel-top cans (your had to pierce them with your "church key" as my dad used to call the can opener) I found my bulbs for my LaCrosse machines at Lowes & Menards, 2.99/2-pack 120volt/DC contact, 10watt . also check at your local sewing machine centers, they're used in the little lights on my wife s sewing machine too.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

I just figured it would be a can opener coz the machine only vends can, and what's left of the schematic references a can opener.. but obviously not.. I suppose it's just a matter of putting a different rack inside to vend bottles or cans ? (mine comes out easily with about 4 screws)
I found the globes I'm after at TopBulb.com $2.76 each and I can buy individually ! (found nothing on lowes website, and menards I couldn't even find a product catalouge !)

Skeleton Man, Try Graingers, they will have the bulbs. What part of Canada are you from. I was in Alberta, Edmonton last year.

Looks like they do have Canadian outlets with what I want.. $4.44 is a little steep, but better than $6 a peice..
