My 10-year-old book says it's worth $60.  Looks like it is in real nice shape.  Bet the reserve is closer to $60-$75.

Hmmm....Those vary....I would think around $60... But make sure the wood is good. You can get all the plastic lenses replaced.
Ebay is tough.... people don't seem to ever put them under the right catagory.
I search all catagories it takes a while... but I usually find few to watch!
The Oak/Acorn I just got I typed in “Penny Machine” and it had a stand and
they said they would not ship. Well two days went by with no bids so I emailed them
asking if they would just ship the machine if I bid and that I didn't want the stand.
They replied they would so I was the only bidder because of them saying they
wouldn't ship...
It would cost a fortune to ship that heavy stand and it turns bidders away.
This is the third candy machine I've gotten this way. So always ask...
Deals are there....

Thanks guys!!
62.00 won't meet the reserve. Think I'll wait and see if I hear from him. Is the Rocket .5 decal available?

Hey Eric, here's how the Hammerite green looks on my Acorn lid.  Thanks for showing a pic of yours and giving me the idea.  LOVE the color and the texture...  ':p'   Feels like a durable finish, too.

That'll probably make that machine worth more.
Yeah the paint is real durable once it has completely dried/cured. And the texure is great really hard to screw a paint job up with this stuff.
Josh... Again great machine... Want to see the Northwestern when you get it. Is it a 60 model?
I agree this isn't a bad little side line to the pop machines.

I just found out that the seller luvgum on eBay is the guy that owns/runs the route in the town I grew up in. There's still Acorn/Oaks on this route. He doesn't live too far I'm thinking about checking out what he has... pre-restored wise.
Stuff looks great guys keep the images coming!
