Hey at least they are on the stainless steel top. Those machines are long gone now. That was back when I lived in Florida.

Josh - nice finish... still watching the ebay auction.  They're at $225 with 3 days left.  '<img'>  With all the crazy pricing on ebay I'm guessing that it's going to go for somewhere near $400 - $500 which is more than I want to pay...  But it is a nice looking machine and your pics certainly make them look sharp...  Hmmmm...   '<img'>

FYI, a USS 8-64 with a deceased compressor and no keys (inside = mystery) sold on Ebay in Texas last week for around $160... several others have gone anywhere from $250 up as high as $500 asking price (with no takers).  There's a lovely machine in the Dallas market right now with a buy it now of $699, and some fool has one in Golden asking around $800.  Totally delusional.  Hopefully, we'll see some realism back into the market as most of the overpriced units aren't drawing any bids.  Or we'll see more on the market.  Either way would be nice, I'd love to get my hands on one..

Ok, an update.  If there's anyone in Florida (or looking for an excuse to travel), here's a very reasonable listing for a USS 8-64, at $9.99 with two days to go...  someone has to bid for this puppy, it looks pretty good, particularly at this price...

Cheap machine!  (too bad it's in Florida!)

Loman - have a machine to go with your shelves you'd like to sell cheep??? '<img'>

for the record... I keep looking at the machine - it looks very nice on the outside except for what looks like duct tape on the front door - but freight from Florida to sunny KS would run around $500.  Not economical to ship long distances.  Pity.

I don't have any USS-64's as of now but I am sure I could find you one. I do have a Cavalier 80 that I would make you a good deal on.

Hey MikeM,

You are within rock throwing distance of the orginal Vendo plant. May want to try an ad and see if anyone is ready to part with anything. Just a suggestion :-)
