My hardware kit is calling for a wooden spacer between the main door and liner???  I don't remember a wooden spacer Huh? Can someone assist?  Is this critical to install the liner without the spacer?

I did not see the wooden spacer in the service manual.

Thx

I noticed that but the description excludes the Vendo 56.  Also
the description on the hardware list says; " Wooden Spacer, main door to liner".

There is a wooden spacer that goes around the coin mech. shaft.   It looks identical to the 3 spacers found in 33's.

Will this work Glen?

Funtronics nor soda jerk works sells one specifically for the Vendo 56..but this one pictured might work if the measurements are right.. but I measured it and ended up making one out of a block of wood... it does not have to be round, just the hole has to be large enough for the vend shaft to go through.. I think it was 5/8.
if I recall it's only 1 1/2 inches deep..

that one should work then,, the ID hole may have to be bored out a bit, as I think I tried 1/2 as well and was a very tight fit, so went with 5/8

hopefully Jebb will add that to his V56 parts list...

Here is the original one.  The newer one is is pictured left which is sold by SJW for the VMC 33.  The blocks are the same outside diameter but the shaft hole  is smaller on the 33 block and it's slightly less in overall height .
