Sand blasting Vs chemical paint stripping

This is my first post to this site and my first machine restore (attempt). i have a coke WD5 cooler that I picked up, it is not a big machine, what is the opinion of the group on sandblasting vs chemical paint stripping? It has some minor rust areas that I think I can remove myself by wet sanding and i have this rink dink sand blaster from harbor freight (for light jobs). any advice is appreciated, thanks..

Sandblasting is primarily the preferred method for removing paint.

If chemically done, you will need to seal all the joints. Some of the chemicals will eventually seep out and compromise the paint job. Easier to sandblast.

sandblasting... but make sure they know what they are doing if you take it somewhere..
your small little blaster may work but don't keep it on one spot for long as you could warp the metal..
