I started working on this machine late last summer until now .  It's been a challenging project but I accumulated the parts slowly from different members.

The idea started after I found a really cheap, local Transitional 56 machine in Craigslist locally .  After I found that machine I found a RT 56 local that was missing a lot of the parts I already had.  From there I had to locate the transional door with the right cut out and bezel and sold out flags.

Here are a few pictures of the progress again this is a fantasy machine . I used my RT 56 Coca Cola as a reference for measuring and creating the 7up decals and art.  The Embossed logo was cut out and a solid piece was welded in along with the Vendo logo being cut out and removed .

The door was covered in bondo and after sandblasting was a disaster.  I've also removed the original cabinet flooring and installed a new shelve for the evaporater.   I have a few fixes to complete on the machine and hope to start assembly soon..

Awesome project.. Keep us posted on the progress... looking good.. that door needed a lot of work but looks
like it turned out really nice.
I think an all blue rt 56 Pepsi would be awesome to do too... use the embossing off a 33D

With the condition of the main door it made the best door to be cutting
