Vendo 39 condensing unit

I have a vendo 39 with a condensing unit where the condenser coil and fan are mounted on top of the compressor and face out the back of the machine.  My question is should the condenser fan be drawing air in or blowing it out on this setup. Thanks for any help.

It should draw fresh air in through the condensor first, then blow over the compressor.

So, yes... "in"  the condensor first.

Thanks for the reply. Its currently blowing out through the condenser coil. Whoever had it before must of set it up wrong. I'll see about changing it.

Must have installed a "borrowed" fan/ motor assembly out of some other machine, or it just has the wrong rotation on the motor.  Or conversely the wrong fan.

backwards fan blades, or the wrong blade pitch or the wrong  motor rotation will just "bat" the air around , lots of air movement going round-robin around the blades, but very poor to no linear flow through the condenser coils.

You must match the fan-blades pitch (rotational direction) with the motor's (clock-wise for clock-wise & vice-versa)
