So I rarely go into antique stores any more because most dealers think they know what soda memorial is worth. If the item happens to say Coca-Cola they usually double that price. Well I stopped by one today just had that feeling, and end up walking out of there with a new dispenser and for a steal (about a 3rd of what they go for).

That is really cool!!
Like the sign. Any idea what the "76" is? Doubt they would waste a tap pull just to 76 someone from the bar but ya never know...
You've seen the "Galaxy" on ebay now right?

Great Score!!!!! And of all things.... a dispenser! It was meant to be.
76 was some sort of cola from the 40s/50s had a little minute man as a mascot.

76 was(is) a Lemon-lime soda(think 7 UP).  Still bottle by a couple of bottlers in Wisconsin I think.

Dumb question, can you still use the old syrup dispensers?  Reason is, we have an old Dr. Pepper dispenser in our warehouse. Justin

Creighton, don't you mean "86" for removing someone, not "76"? '<img'>

Racer, you have all the dispenser luck.

And I saw the Galaxie on eBay today. I've always wanted one, but I'm sure it will get out of my budget limit really quickly. '<img'>

With the right dispenser and know how yes these old dispenser can work. But you have to be careful with things like, is it old enough to have used lead fittings, are the old fittings able to handle the pressure of carbonated water, etc.
Hey if you can take a picture of it and I can let you know more about it.
