Vends once then doesnt then vends again

Hi, im having a stupid problem.  No matter what button slot the soda is in, when you put coins in the machine it will give u a soda then the next time u do the same thing you hear the motor moving but nothing comes out then the next time it will and so on and so on.  Is this an adjustment?  THanks for your time

What machine do you have? (Vendo, Choicevend, DixieNarco, etc.) & do you know the model no. ? it'll help us help you out...I'm guessing a ChoiceVend... '>

Yes, please give us the brand and model number.

Ok I dont know the model but it is a DixieNarco and the date on the coin mech is 1983.  Heres a picture of it

You have a Dixie Narco-180. Problem can't be caused by double stacking, so track down the problem visually.
     With the door open, have someone operate one of the selections while you watch the vending in action. You can see when the can drops, or jams

Sounds like he is only putting in one roll of cans instead of two deep.  My Dixie Narco is about 10 years newer but I bet they are mechanically close.  If I just put one deep of cans in my machine it will do the same thing his is doing.  If you can post a picture of the inside of the machine that would help with seeing if that is the problem.  I hope that is 75 cents for a BOTTLE of soda and not a can.
