Just thought I'd post this LaCrosse Here because I didn't want to "bump" anybody else's postings above..LCV90/Pepsi bottle machine I just picked up today, I found it on ebay, the owner I puchased it from told the history as follows...A friend of his who owned a service station sold the business & asked to store this machine & other Items from the business "for a while" with him in a storage barn he had...That was 8 years ago & I guess he road off into the sunset, because nobody has seen or heard from him since...and now it's mine...
The Orange-Crush sign is only a large, "cut ot fit" decal slapped over the 3-D pepsi sign (which shows through when you plug it in & it lights-up... '> ), but anyway, I knew it was only a "Pepsi" when I bid on it...original, dent-free, & running, $153.00 & a two hour ride up north...I've been finding a lot of LaCrosse's coming back into the light lately it seems... I'll Post better pictures of it when I get a chance, these are only from the auction... '>

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Nice machine. The lacrosse's are growing on me. I never ran into one in the south but you are right they seem to be all over the mid west and north.

Yeah Johnie. When I seen this I didn't even bother to bid cause I just figured we would be bidding against each other driving the price up. Decent looking machine. The lacrosses have just been coming out of the woodwork lately. All Pepsi and all in pretty good shape too. I just don't know if I could handle one though. I would reach for a pop and crack my knuckles on sheet metal because that bottle door is on the wrong side.

Quote (Markito @ Mar. 31 2005,5:01) | I wonder if they have them in LaCrosse, Wisconsin? '> | Bingo! ding-ding-ding, they were indeed manufactured in LaCrosse Wisconsin. seems like they were heavy into Pepsi machines, nice solid little machines, compressors are easy to service (flare-fittings), they never had any bottle-door lights, but I've gotten around that by simply adding my own... & as mentioned earlier, they are heavier than a comparable size Vendo or Cavalier, it took the ride Back down, on it's back, spend the night in the upright position, & fired right back up...
