Don't want to steal the thread, but saw this box in Dana Point, CA a few years back. I didn't know True was still in business.

A very good friend of mine is an electrician at True in O'Fallon, MO .....about 15 mins from where I work. In fact , look at the bottom left of the page in the link http://www.truemfg.com/AboutUs

Take a look at their History Page: http://www.truemfg.com/AboutUs/History.  It shows the 7up cooler for 1948 and the Royal Crown cooler in 1950.
