Looking at your Username/ and login, it says newbie..
here is the best Newbie advice... don't let the attractive 250 price tag suck you in...

as others have said, it's a boat anchor  (in collector terms, it's not worth buying)..

it's not collectable, it's huge, has not forseable value, and parts may be hard to come by if needed.

if you like it, and know all of this in advance, the go for it..

If your looking for your first machine, your better off looking for a smaller  machine like a Cav 64, Vendo 63, Vendo 56 square tops which all of can still be purchased reasonable *(under 500)... or spend more on a classic Round top like a Vendo 81, 56, 110)

Good luck and welcome to the site!

Actually no - was not looking to buy, and I already have a machine. I was wondering what make/model it was. |

It looks like a Selectivend 3A to me.  I usually see them in RC, Dr. Pepper or 7up.  They are large, they are not collectible but I think they have their place.  I seriously considered getting one in really nice shape to hold all of my craft beer.  That way, I can get the beer out of the Coke machine and dedicate that to just soda.  I really like the Dr. Pepper logos on that one, but it does not appear to be in very good shape. |

For the non collector, machines like this can be fun.  Many of us have helped friends find backyard machines that they enjoy with their family.    A couple of my friends subsequently became serious collectors. |

It appears that the bottle door is the worst. Maybe it could be repainted. The bad stickers could come off with some Goo Gone or other similar. If it cools, the rest is more or less cosmetic.Several People on here will tell you, after all of the other stuff, if you like it well enough, go for it.

Hmm, well I guess I'm the sucker that just bought a boat anchor!  I got it for only 200, and I went and looked at it before hand.  Seems like the internals work.  But I could use some help with sourcing a manual.  I just posted in another thread some pics.  One of the ID tag too.  I think it's an SV model 96. |
