The weather has definitely been favorable the last week or so . Made a little progress getting most of the cabinet finished.
The gasket isn't exactly correct so I have decide if I want to glue it on or use screws. Haven't decided I don't want the head of the screws to ruin the inside of the lids when they are closed. The old gasket was channeled for the breaker strip to fit inside of it
The main lid hinges, and the ( 2 ) lid prop hinges and the wire rack shelves are being reproduced by one of the site sponsors " Soda Jerk Works". As soon as they are made the machine will be finished.
If you are looking for any of those parts they should be available soon.

Making some steady progress over the last few weeks. I ended up using a 3M Weather Gasket Adhesive for the body gasket. It made the installation process very easy rather than screw the gasket down and the screw head being exposed.
I had the tear drop opener nickel plated which I think was well worth the investment. I have installed the one reproduction shelf to check for accuracy and they will soon be available through one of the site sponsors. I also modified the drain slightly so a valve can easily be opened and close for draining since this is the ice version. A small section of hose is screwed on to the valve for easy draining .

Finished installing the side art thank to "coinopgullwing" for making up a kit. He was able to trace the original ones and to get the most original look into a format for printing on vinyl.
